My vin only has 11 digits

After doing some research online I see what you are talking about, looks like the 1965 has a single brake and in 1966 Honda went to a double, so i guess that means mine is a 65 as long as someone over the years did not change out the front brakes, I wish there was a way to tell by the vin#, another thing strange I have are both of my fenders are chrome, I can tell they are OEM by comparing them to ones online, do you know if that was a uncommon option back then or do you think someone had them chromed oy and the chain guard is also chrome.
