Post by 305 » Sat Oct 07, 2006 5:41 pm

hello! i just came to this website after meeting someone at a car show today who sugested i check it out. i've always been more into hot rods , buy have always had some sort of old Honda..at one time i had 5 dreams , but now i'm down to just my favorite one. this one i have owned since 1973 ( paid a huge amount- $175) . the only things i have done to it are new tires from Coker about 10 years ago , redo the seat ,a homemade seat rail when i couldn't find one ,and added the windshield

thanks for letting me join in , i think i could really like it here

i hope i wasn't TOO bold for using 305 as my screen name

thanks for your replies and kind words. this looks like a great place , but i have notced that there is not a lot of traffic on it..i hope to improve on that

i hadn't mentioned it , here is a picture of my Superhawk..bought it at a garage sale about 15 years ago . i won't say what i paid for it. original tires , seat , paint , etc..the only things i have done to it is a new battery and clean it

Hey 305 welcome aboard. Man that is one awesome looking bike. I just love it and was very happy to see the pics of it. I have a number of hobby's including restoring the odd thing like in the first picture but I'm trying to restore my first Dream and this site has given me allot of help. There's a lots of great info on here along with some nice folks. Last picture shows the painted stage on my Dream. All of it was painted this past week with base clear paint and wet sanded so I'm off to a good start. thanks again for posting those great looking pics of your bike. Ride safe, Paul

305, I forgot how great a clean 305 Dream in white looks. Nice seat protector

4shorts, looks like you have the first stages of a really nice bike happening.

Also into Alfa Romeo Giuliettas and Giulias! Looking for a Giulia Super.
