Post by bill440cars » Mon Oct 16, 2006 7:40 pm

I've never heard of this, just what is a CBM72? Could someone enlightnen me on this?
I've had a CB72 and now have a CL72 but, not one of those other ones. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that the CBM's were essentially Superhawks (or in the case of a CBM72, a "Hawk") with high bars, turn signals, and a Type 2 motor (360 crank similar to a Dream motor). I guess they were just a more touring friendly version of the CB's.

Gabe, there's ongoing debate regarding this rarity here:

The ad I have (had!) showed no turn signals, but it was single seat with a rear carrier and was described something like "....a smooth revving 250cc.....".
