Ya did have a chance to get those carbs and as others are offered many times on eBay they are available world wide. Doesn't have to cost over $600.00 US to have incorrect carbs on your engine. Most bikes do come with carbs and most can be rebuilt or at worst used for parts to make good usable ones that will be correct for the bike. I'm aware of the cost for those first year 750 carbs. I got on eBay my 5 speed engine and 2 of those carbs plus the 1960's GP racer (in a box) for $185.00. YA CAN BET I STOLE IT at that price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FWIW parts are still available from HONDA for those 750 carbs. .....................lm

Decent original Keheins aren't that easy to come by (at least down here), and CB750 K0 carbs are worth more than new carbs of any description......

So, what's a bloke to do if he doesn't have a decent set to rebuild, or want's a bigger set for a performance application? He has to find something that will fit, and is readily available, along with the spares.....

I nearly bid on your last set of Carbs on evilbay, BTW....... I have no doubt whatsoever that they're good.

But LM, surely you can see my point? A set of CB750 K0 carbs went for sale here in Oz recently, at almost US$700...... Ok, that was for four, but if you wanted 2, then you have to buy the 4 & off-load a couple......

In the last 12 months or so, only 5-6 pairs of CB77 carbs have come up on ebay & have all gone for arount the US$150-$200 mark. For 2nd hand carbs. Of all of them, yours are the only ones I would trust the quality of. The rest could have turned out to be expensive junk, as have been a couple of used Honda Kehein PW22's I bought last year, for a CD175.

At least buying new you know what you're getting.........

BTW I was kidding about the cost of those 750 carbs. I did get them and the engine and the bike for that price but lets face it I was lucky. A nice thing about this list is that one can and should ask for parts that are tough to find. I've sold 2 sets of carbs (ready to install and run) direct this year and they weren't close to $600.00 US to install. Time to go work in the shop. ..................lm
