well since ive been inspired by paul, here goes,my dream is a 1963,its around 90 percent restored before ive decided to post here, today it was lets trick it out day so i pulled lots of stuff of to send to the chrome shop.i started with the handle bars and bar mounts, found 2 nos tank sides so off they went, now to the rear, the complete rear tire and hub including all spacers, sprocket, brake hub,(have new spokes off of ebay and found someone to unlace and relace for 85.00,hats off to paul for doing his own)and passenger pegs, then the shock trim on both sides and while it was off the side cover and chain cover had a few scratches so dropped them off to my fav body shop to make perfect again.i will post up more as i go.soon as the rear is done off comes the front tire and rim for the same treatment.bill

Hey Bill. Sure sounds like you got the ball rolling on your restore. When you get it all back it's going to make some very cool and also fast changes to your Dream. I think it's safe to say we ALL like looking at pictures so keep them coming.

Oh by the way. We still don't have any snow up here in Newfoundland but I'm sure it's on the way. I'll look forward to reading more on your progress. Good Luck, Paul

Wow Bill she sure looks good there. Did you know that the red Dream's are the fastest? It's true and you can say you learned it from a guy up in Canada and you know we wouldn't lie about a thing like that!

Image Cecil. I got some Coca Cola red left over from an old cooler I painted if you want it to paint your Dream. If you got some left pass it on to Bill for his white one. Here's another tip for you all. The trick to a good paint job is to use a good quailty brush!
