Wide open throttleI've done it both ways, First with a timing light. Then the bike ran like crap. Then I uses a 12 volt test light and one lead on the point and one to ground. When the F mark for the right cylinder lit up the test light, at top dead center and the LF mark for the left cylinder at top dead center and locked it down just as it started to come on. Using the test light VS using the Timing light seemed to work better. Did I do it right? I believe I followed ED Moore's Tuning tip.
I'd say ya did the points correctly.
Now. Does the cam sprocket move? Did you use the timing light to check for total advance as the RPM's increased?. .............lm
You have the correct jets. .............lm
