Hey Guys,
I was curious if anyone had info on the Genuine Honda Racing parts that were available for the 250/305 Scramblers. I have a bunch of CYB stuff for my Superhawk, and I know that Honda made stuff for the Scrambler (the elusive alluminum tanks for example).
The main reason I ask is that I have a 1962 CL72 with an alloy rim on the front. I am beginning the resto and I noticed that the rim has no markings on it of any kind-Totally blank. It is an old style shouldered alloy, and it looks a little different the the Akronts, DID's, Borrani's, Takasago's, Excels, ect that I'm used to seeing. I know that Honda sold alloy rims for the CB's, did they do this for the CL's also. Could this be a Honda race part? I'll tryand post a pic tonight. Thanks.
