Throttle cable routing

Post by ggray » Sat Aug 11, 2007 12:09 pm

Hi guys,

Just got a new throttle cable and after having the bike apart for so long I have a question regarding the routing of the two cables that go to each carb.

Does the cable run above the frame bar and then into each carb, efectually splitting the main frame bar. or do I route it under the main frame bar and then into each carb top?

Just want to make sure I get it right and avoid any cable binding.

Thanks,

Gary

It comes inside the right side fork between the triple clamps then the splitter positions over the coils and the short pieces go to the carb tops. .................lm

Thanks Ed,

It didn't look right going over and splitting ABOVE the main frame tube.
