CA78

Post by mcinturff » Mon Dec 31, 2007 11:21 am

hi guys,
I'm in the process of restoring what I think is a CA78, the frame says so but the engine starts with CA77E. Did the ca78's use the same engine (as far as the number is concerned) or does the E signify a ca78? I'll post a link to a website with pics or post them here later.

The CA78 bike is/was a US issue CA77 and the engine is/was CA77E-XXXXXXX. CA77E-XXXXXXX means a 305 cc HONDA Dream engine. "E" is for engine and in some old parts books one will find "F" pertaining to some frame parts. .............lm

I meant the left body cover over the battery. I'm in Tomball, just outside Houston. I have a right side cover, front fender, (some misc. body pieces) if you would like to barter (preferable) or set a price.
