305racer & magoopeter, My comment about the 68' 350 trans was from a fellow over on SOHC4, who did it years ago. With the help from a fellow (Mike) who is one of 2, responsible for the hondatwins.com site, I have found a 68' motor. Mike actually went and picked the motor up (it was a couple of hours from where he lived. Since all I was really after was the complete trans (with clutch, shift drum and forks), He stripped it down. He's got it boxed up to find out what the shipping cost will be and, when I can pay the shipping cost, he will send it to me. Now, my situation has gotten a bit tight (to say the least) and I won't be getting it for a while. So, my project has been put on a hold, for the time being. Only pictures I presently have, are as it sits, before work being done to it. It's NOT pretty. I had a Suzuki Hustler front fender (that had been incorrectly identified as a CB160 item) and was going to use it on the front of the bike, since I don't have a correct fender, until I realized what it really was. A buddy not far away, gave me a CB175 front fender that I think will do nicely though. I'm slowly trying to piece together a Super Hawk motor (since my CB77 had a Dream motor in it), to put in it and build a Not so Stock, but not too wild of a Super Hawk either. I've got a thread on the project. Things are kin of on hold for right now though. I'll try to update as I can. I will also be keeping an eye on others, so see if I can see any new ideas or share what I can with others.

Later on, Bill

PT,
Your project is coming right along and looking good. Glad to see updated comments and pics. Looking at the pics, I have some questions. Are those Delertto carbs (sic), what fairing and wheels and what ignition system. Looks like you are running without a battery. Keep giving us updates. CliffC

The wheels are Morad with cheap ebay spokes which are rubish. The fairing is a K4 350 honda bought of ebay, just need to spend some time making the right brackets and it fits ok . Im runing total loss at the moment from a battery on to standard CB72 points. Hope this helps you CLiff.

PT,
The bike is coming along nicely! Are you gonna run it closed course or are you gona run the REAL road races?
My projects have been goin pretty slow due to an injury from an accident last year. I have accumulated alot more parts in the mean time so everything should come together pretty quickly. This race season has been a wash for me so I am gonna set my sites on next season and get a few track days in as well. I'm also kickin around the idea of racing the Czech TT next June I'll know more about that closer to the first of the year.
