HARD TO TURN THROTTLE HANDLE

Post by ROBM50 » Tue Jan 15, 2008 8:45 am

My throttle cable on my 305 Dream seems to be binding when I try to accellerate making the handle grip hard to turn. What should be my first step in resolving this issue?

You're going to have to take it apart . You can't even check the cable without doing that. first step is to take the grip off. If yours is as old as mine that will be tough. There is a screw under there that needs removed before the twist barrell can be removed. You'll also need to take the cable loose on the carb slide. You get that far you'll figure it out.
