has this frame been altered?

Hey all, new to the world of Dreams.

Saw this bike for sale in my local craigslist.

I know very little about these bikes but thought i might dive in with this one. Did a little poking around the web and got to wondering, has someone chopped this rear fender? (front on too?)

Thanks for any advice from you gurus out there.

Yep the front and rear fenders have been chopped.

Looks a bit on the rough side for $1500 if you ask me.

also missing the chain guard , and the mufflers are aftermarket replacements ...correct mufflers are big $$$$

dreams should also have whitewall tires too..about $200?

he wants wants too much for it in my opinion too. if you want a Dream you can do a lot better
