Dream Mufflers

Post by madtrout » Fri Jan 25, 2008 8:51 pm

I notice that my 1966 Honda CA77 has two mufflers that have different kinds of joints where they connect to the header pipes. One muffler has a flanged end that accommodates an orange rubber gasket (much like the pipes on my Super Hawk).
The other muffler ends without the flanged end and no visible means of sealing the header pipe to the muffler. The bike's mufflers were sealed with a liquid gasket of some sort when I got the bike. I would like to do a cleaner job of rejoining the pipes. Anyone have any suggestions? The only parts fiche I can find online is for a 1963 model. Thanks,
Mark

There are 3 types of pipes for your bike and I think you have 2 of them. ................lm
