Check out the front fender of this bike. You will see that it's backwards in the brackets and the front is at the rear and the rear is at the front. REAL HONDA PRODUCTION PROMOTION BIKE?

Ya got most of it. The missing part is the center case cover. The wrong parts are the shift lever, tail light and bracket, bar grips and the tank badges which were issued after the 1963 bike was issued. You fellers did good with this one. BTW I looked at the front fender again and I see and can't imagine how anyone would/could install the complete assembly backwards and not see the problem. The seller went nuclear when I told him about the fender. Bid if ya want but be warned. ..........lm

Chrome CB77
I do not post often on this board: just a reader not a poster Rough crowd here??
Regarding you comments to the Chrome Bike and Bucks .I use this board for Data only thats about it? but I had to Say something on this topic
I saw this bike at the International Show and yes it has few minor flaws but what old bike doesn't?
This one was Real Cool to see!!!!
Lets Focus on the positive just for a moment
1.the whole Bike is Chrome and # matching from the Whole frame ,swingarm.forks, light, shocks, the whole bike. that would have cost the seller thousands and thousands. to complete that task .
I just had Quote on a set of pipes by friend and that was 800.00 for that?? not to mention putting it back correctly? I know you are stuck on the the fendor ,turn it around{ Simple} it is a Nice chrome fendor!!! it was not beat up!!!
the Chrome is PRODUCTION QUALITY NOT {NEW CHROME} SHOW ROOM QUALITY?? That is produced today. BIG point you missed this tells me it was done on a production line!!!
it seems to me you might focus on the Neg a bit much from what I read in your past post?? I like to see the positive or what I can Gain.
As for the front fendor, again turn it around it. no big issue. I looked at the bolts and not one-were cracked or from home depot!! the other stuff Buck makes a mention I would consider Minor stuff in my opnion. I have heard of these bikes but never seen one ,well now I did ,I sent the photo's that I TOOK to an expert and He said it has the Same Quality as the few that are out their and he saw it on Ebay too and he said I Quote: I have seen 3 now 4 all chrome superhawks. I think it worth a bid or 2.
now I would not pay 10k for it or anything like that but it would be a nice addition FOR ANY COLLECTION.
I talked to the Guy for a short time at this show he was real nice kind fellow!! he let me pull the seat off and the Harness still had a 1963 tag on it!! and for the chrome to be in that kind of condition floored me!!!as production QUALITY.it had a few surface rust spots in the tight places. but again over all it would be a Super cool project and not a basket case project and on a bike you just do not see ever. I would go nuts on. and when you were done you would have a superhawk that not many have. correct!. and it was not from a barn. or a rust bucket.
Ending
No way Someone Chromed this Bike!!! And REAL PRODUCTION CHROME HONDA!!! just my take
