Throttle sleeve and hand grips

Post by Inty » Sun Mar 02, 2008 10:35 pm

What kind of grips do all of you like on your bikes? I'm most interested in comfort while keeping the bike looking "period," but I'm not concerned with keeping everything original. What grips do you recommend?

Also, I see a nylon throttle sleeve on Dennis Kirk. Is this a viable alternative to the metal throttle sleeve that came with my bike?

If you have a local dealer, go in there and check out thier grips. There are definately more comfortable alternatives to the stock cheese grater grips! I doubt the plastic throttle housing will work. The metal ones are very narrow where the cable goes in, and fits in the holder.
