Mystery to me

I have 2 1966 [per titles] 305 Dreams.One fuel tank is smooth on top with filler hole in center, the other has a seam in the top center and filler hole is on right side. Which is correct for 1966 or is there more to the story . Thanks for any clues Roger

The seamed tank began in 1964 I believe, seamless was 1963 and earlier.

If I'm wrong one of the real experts will correct soon! ;)
