Tanks Rubber Stop Bumper?

Post by bass-o-matic » Tue Mar 18, 2008 12:12 pm

You know that the two rubber bumpers that your tank pops onto? Does anyone have one? Or Part number or know a replacement? Thanks

OK... here is what happened. I trailered my bike to my brothers to drink beer and work on it... but before i did I took off the tank and the carbs... being high on sudafed due to a cold I just started bouncing down the road without checking the bike for parts that might wiggle off! So I lost that rubber stopper... and one of the plug wire clips or straps or whatever you calll them...

he he... :)

Site says he can reproduce tank knee pads!, has anyone ever used this guy for this or investigated the cost? I am looking to replace my CL72 pads...

Ive used his repro air tubes, and have seen the CL tank rubbers. All are very nice, but not perfect. Unless you are doing a 100 point show bike, buy with confidence.
