cb72 valve springs

Post by 305 nutt » Wed May 14, 2008 9:26 pm

I am restoring a cb72 and noticed the inner valve springs are wound opposite the outters. Is this correct? It also looks like there aren't as many coils on both the inner and outter springs as the cb77 has. If any one knows if this is correct, I would sure appreciate it before I reinstall the springs. nutt

The stock HONDA springs are wond the same direction. The only ones I've seen that were wound in different directions are racing issue. .................lm
