i got another one!

Post by bigscooter » Wed May 28, 2008 8:01 pm

hi guys, just thought i'd play show and tell. i'v been looking for an older one of these
with this cool tank. i found this one in Reno, about 5 hours from me. its been kinda
hacked up, but it was only $250. it has a scary dual carb conversion from a cl77.
not sure how i'm going to make it right again. any ideas?

looks like a good deal at $250

yes , it;s too bad they hacked up the frame. if you could find a junk frame you could cut the pieces out of it to fix yours...or if you have access to metal working equipment and a pattern to go by it shouldn't be too hard to fabricate.

Is it a CA72 frame going by the tank badge or is it indeed a CA77?Check the VIN.

hi, yes it is indeed a ca72, with a cl77 top end on it. good eye. i've only seen that tank on early
250cc bikes. do you know if that's a ca72 only tank?
