Hello all. I did some searching for Dream info and found this forum. I've got a Dream, unknown year, in pieces that I got from my (now ex-) brother-in-law about 15 years ago. It's been sitting in the back of my shop since then, and I've finally gotten the inspiration to see what it'll take to get it back together. Yeah, I know, lots and lots of money. I know it needs a gas tank and possibly a seat.

Anyhow, this seems to be a very informative bunch of folks.

I'm glad you decided to breathe life into a classic.
I'm a young'un but even to me there is something wonderful about these bikes. Now, i've only ridden mine a total of... oh 3 miles before i tore it down for restore... and i'm almost done with that! haha. but i'm just enjoying working with the bike and learning about it. I think it was robert pirsig from the back of a cb77 who said "Living for end goals is shallow. It's the sides of the mountain that sustain life, not the top."

I think so.

It's missing. :( I think the chrome side panels are still in the pile-o-parts, though.

I was 19 when I got my classic Mini. It was 27 years old at the time. Now it's 48.

No, don't do the math to figure out how old I am.
