well i got it back together. I had to try hard to remember how i took it apart. i think the ball goes were the tab sticks out on the metal circle plate. it goes in the groove of the petcock. for the person that told that there petcock got stuck from using the new rubber gasket, i happen to have the old cork gasket. works great now. I get it to start. runs really nice. Now i have to figure out how the timing works so i can make sure its right. it idles nice and it does not sound like its off time. still waiting for my manual though. thanks again.
