cb72 color

Post by 305 nutt » Tue Jul 08, 2008 10:30 pm

I have a cb72 I'm restoring. Getting ready to lay on the paint, but I'm torn between painting it red or black. It was originally black, but red looks good. I'm going to sell it when its done, so should I stick to the original black, or would it decrease the value by changing the color? If I paint it red, it will be correct honda red. Any input? thanks nutt

I would think that as long as it was one of the factory options the cb72's rolled out with you'd be fine.
that being said, I don't know what colors were stock.

I personally think we need more blue hawks out there

RED bikes sell good as long as the RED isn't CHERRY RED and is the Scarlet Red HONDA had. .........lm
