OK, What is the definitive answer to this question? What is the proper tires to put on a 65' CL77. Is there a vintage tire, tread pattern, street, or universal? If so, where did you get yours? I have scoured the net looking at tires till me eyes turn red. Cheng Shin, Dunlop, IRC? What say you?

The closest I could find to original style treads were Avon Speedmaster 3.25 front and Avon SM Mark II 3.50 rear from www.tiresunlimited.com

Thanks, guys.
So far so good. I have looked at the JC Whitney on line cat and found the Cheng Shin C180 for the rear at a 3.50-19 and the front is the C117 at 2.75-19. Didn't see the 3.00. Do you recall the style/model number? The way I understand it the original tire size for the rear was 3.50-19 and the front was a 3.00-19. Am I correct? Has anyone run a 4.00 on the rear? It just might be a little too big and rub the fender.
