that's exactly it, these classics won't happen again. I'm trying my damndest to raise interest in my friends (ages 20-25) hoping that we can spark appreciation for these bikes in a new generation.
All I ever got the few times I had my superhawk running smooth was "what's a kid your age doing on that dream sport!?" I sure hope there are more out there discovering these bikes for the first time 45 years later than my experience is letting on.

That includes shaggin' & titties, BTW!

Baby bull to daddy bull: 'Pop! All those lovely, fresh heffers waitin' for a fμ♀≤; I'm gonna run down there & service the odd one or two!'..... Daddy bull to baby bull: 'Son, let's just mosey along and service them ALL!'

Wow, deja-vu all over again...

Sometime in the 60's, I was 6 or 7, my neighbor's oldest son was over with his Honda, and I'm not sure what it was, either CL or CB. At that age, the thing that caught my eye was that winged badge on the tank that looked so cool.

Back then, people that I knew were always using the term Jap junk or Jap crap for all the commodity stuff coming from Japan back then. Things have sure changed. Now most of the junk is Chinese, but who knows, it'll be interesting to see if the overall quality comes up in the next few years on the bigger ticket imports. It seems to have happened at Triumph, after all, so never say never, right?
