16" Rims

Looking for new 16" rims for CA95 Dream. Overseas rims are poor quality and expensive shipping.Anybody got a connection on these in the states?

16" rims

Post by jdbenly » Wed Oct 22, 2008 9:15 pm

I have 2 rims, but they need rechroming or paint. Taken off 1966 C-78 (same as CA77) then installed 18" from super hawk CB77. I am in Canada just north of lake superior. I also have a lot of parts left over from CA95, CA77, and CB77. Call 807-826-2877. The CB77 has a lot of new parts in engine but needs to be torn down and inspected.

I had mine re plated. My guy is in Georgia and does a great job for a reasonable price. He is looking for some new business right now.

Rims

What do you consider a reasonable price to rechrome? I heard that the rims on eBay are decent replacements for something that is beyond rechroming. I have two bikes that need to be rechromed or new rims. I found one rim from a guy in California that has a collection of rims from any make and model except Dreams. I got his last one.
