horn bracket

Can anyone tell me the color that the little bracket that the bolts go through to hold the horn on is painted? My horn was painted black instead of silver and I can't really tell if the bracket with the cable holder was black, silver or zinc plated. Thanks

I'm holding the one off my 62 cb77 in my hand...bike is in many pieces...appears to be galvanized steel (ie zinc plated). Magnet sticks to it, it's dull silver, not painted...horn itself is painted same (rusty) silver as fenders. hope this helps...jlw
