Upper crankcase cover color???

Post by 48lesco » Sun Apr 05, 2009 8:50 pm

1964 CB77 - What color should the sheet metal upper crankcase cover be? Mine was painted a pretty shiny silver and doesn't look correct. Should it match the side covers and fenders (silver) or the dull aluminum crankcase side covers? Any insight appreciated!!!

Krylon #1403

That would be the elusive Krylon #1403 (spray can). Ordered mine through O'Reily's Auto Parts. It's dull silver, same as crankcase side covers. --Lee
