CB77 coils and a set slightly shorter

Post by pdaly » Sat Apr 25, 2009 11:47 am

I have gotten a second set of coils--they have the same mount and condenser as my '67 CB77, but:
the coil tops are black (not tan)
they are 1/2 inch shorter (same diameter)
the two wire hookups are on opposite sides of the cap, not together on one side.

Can anyone help me identify these? Also, I am, I guess, still looking for a CB77 coil(s) and particularly condenser. Does anyone know of modern replacements?
Thanks

Not sure what those colis are from, but they would probably work. Used coils can usually be found on ebay. NOS condensers are iether from Ohio Cycle or sometimes on ebay. --Randall
