Hondabond

Post by britman » Mon Jun 15, 2009 4:42 pm

I first heard about Hondabond gasket sealer on this site. Since then I have used it on two Honda rebuilds and a Triumph Bonneville. It is good stuff. A couple of days ago I noticed a slight oil weep on the cam chain cover of my Rocket III. I cleaned the seams well with the cover still on, applied Hondabond, torqued the bolts and let it cure over night. To have replaced the gasket, the radiator, water pump, and basically the whole front of the engine would have had to come off. After a couple of test runs, the weep is gone. Best gasket sealer I have ever used.
