ca77 fuel filter

Post by ryan_siefrin » Wed Jun 29, 2005 2:42 pm

ok well, i got my bike running again, turns out the carb was clogged again. Hoever i'm not sure why the thing had this problem. The tank doesn't appear to have rust in it or anything. what i'm planing on doing in the future is running an inline fuel filter between the carb and the petcock.

has anyone done this before/have coments on this?

thanks

Ryan, I have used filters from time to time. Its a good idea if you suspect there is crud in da tank! I get them at the small engine shop or any place that sell small engine parts. It's a clear plastic cone shaped deal. I like the clear plastic so I can see whats going on there. Good Luck!! Steve
