CB77E - can anyone help me?

Post by CONNIE » Fri Jul 17, 2009 10:34 am

I have uncovered a 1966 Honda CB77e in my Dads barn and am going to sell it for him on EBAY. It has not run for 25 years and is in need of restoration but has all its parts I think - does anyone have a clue if it is worth anything as i know nothing about these things!

If you have pictures that would help the experts here understand the condition / completeness which is related to the value. You've come to the right place.

posting the engine and frame numbers (frame # on left side of steering column) will help too...

why do you want to sell it? if you want to know it's value in $$ put it on eBay with a $1 starting bid with no reserve. i may be out of line here...i may even get kicked off the board...but you just came here to find out what it's worth , when it's sold your out of here?

my suggestion is to fall in love with old Hondas , restore it and enjoy it for what it is...that's why i'm here

your mileage may differ....if i'm wrong please tell me , i will admit i'm an idiot

i'm ready for the abuse

Thank you for coming back to me. to tell me what I need to find out. It has now gone on EBAY. Item no.130318833981 but only a picture of it overall. It is a poor state having been under cover for 25 years without any work. I will try and find out the engine and frame numbers and come back.

A bit far to travel for most of the members on this forum. Just down the road for me, though. Pity I'm off to the USA tomorrow!

Good luck!
