I have 2 CB77 seats that I dismantled. One had the wrap-under strap (and corresponding lugs welded into the pan) that I think is not correct for my '64. The other one had no strap, but has two holes where it would attach. I'll probably restore both, but I'd really like to do the one with the correct chrome buckles on the outside. Anybody know of a source for those buckles? I've seen a number of them on the web, but they aren't exactly right, they look like the more recent versions on 350's etc. Also, is there a special nut, etc. that goes in those holes?
Thanks for any insights!

seat strap bolts, etc.
For what it's worth, here's a pic of seat strap bolts that were on my '62.
The buckles were definitely different from those I've seen on ebay.
I thought I saved the old strap with buckles from mine when I got seat re-covered in black way back when but I can't find it after nearly a year of sporadic searching...sigh...hopefully it'll turn up one of these days.
In the meantime I just wrapped the strap around and fastened with a couple of different bolts through holes in pan.
Good luck, if you find more than you need, put me down for two. --Lee
