What Year is my Dream?

This seems to be a common question here, but the literature I've found on the subject never gives me a clear and definitive answer.
The seller of this bike sold it to me as a '63, and that does seem consistent with the numbers, but I'm no expert- far from it!

Engine: CA77E 317284
Frame: CA78 312419

Any ideas?

Also, I have no key or battery. I understand that the battery style is different from year to year- one of the reasons I need to know what year bike it is. The lock # is T7978. Any idea where ofr how I can get a replacement key?

I too have a '63 CA77. The battery is the "early" version and shows up on ebay often. Loud Mouse on this forum may have a key. You can ask. If not, I've had good luck with http://www.hondakeys.com/ for replacements. Mark is a good guy to deal with. Just send him an e-mail.
