66 CA72 Clutch Springs

Post by tjhawg » Tue Aug 23, 2005 9:24 am

Anyone know how to adjust the clutch on the CA72?<br />Everything was apart when I received it and the only thing holding me back is the adjustment. Do you tighten the clutch springs on the pressure plate all the way, or is there a measurement? HELP!!!

TJ hog, Welcome to the forum. The clutch springs just get snugged real good(dont have my manual with me but I believe there is a ft.# number) Any adjustments are made at the clutch lifter rod adjuster on the right side of the engine. It is a large slot screw head with a lock bolt (10mm wrench) and fine tune the adj. at the lever on the bars. Good luck! Steve Greer
