Keihin CL77 carb question

Post by sparks454 » Wed Apr 14, 2010 10:25 am

I have a pair of Keihin cl77 carbs off my '67 cl77. They are stamped with a '26' on the side. On the top side of the float bowl there are two large wholes. One has a brass insert with a small hole inside. The other has no insert. The whole exits on the side of the carb. Is this just a vent for the bowl and do I need to find an insert for the other carb?
Thanks,
Chris

Both carbs need the insert.
If not there ya may expect to have a wet side on the carb. .........lm

But there is only one brass insert (vent) per carb. You don't need an insert on both sides of each carb. jwb
