Brake Light Doesn't Come on When Front Brake is applied

I have looked at wiring diagrams and all around my front brake, but I don't see any wire / switch that would cause my CA77 305 Dream to turn the brake when the front brake is applied. Is this correct?

As with many bikes of the '60s and prior, there is only a brake switch on the rear brake. No switch on the front brake. That didn't come standard on many bikes until the '70s.
