throttle cable routing

throttle cable routing

Does anyone know the proper way to route the throttle cable on a '61 CB72? I tried it between the bars and speedo and it seems to be too tight. I'm sure that I have the correct cable for my bars.

thanks for the help. after I posted the question, I realized it was on another page already. I'll try it tonight and hopefully I'll be riding again this weekend.
