I am restoring my 1965 cb77 and didn't notice the steering stop is broken off. This was found on reassemble of course, the bike was purchased in a box so I didn't even think to look. this is a cast piece? any trick on welding or what a back yarder might do
thank you

The best way I have found for repairing broken cast iron castings is to braze it with brass. I have used some special welding rod to arc weld repairs too, but the brazing with brass should give you the best result . It only takes an oxy/acetylene torch and you should be able to get flux coated brazing rod from Lowes, Home Depot or Menards.
