I am another new guy with a Dream. I am trying to find the manufacture date of my dream. It is titled 1969 but understand that is likely related to the year of purchase. the Motor number is CA77E-1036282. Frame number is CA78-1036221.

All anyone can tell for sure is that it is a '65 or later. I would guess a '66 but, it might be a '67. Only a guess - and worth every penny...
It will not really matter. There was no such thing a s a "model-year" for these bikes as they were produced before the serious Federal VIN statutes kicked in. Just follow your parts manual. It will tell you what parts you need for your bike.
