Anyone tried these?
My concern is that they are said to be correct for dozens of models, so would they be a truly good fit for a CB77.

Levers and perches...
Thanks for the heads-up on mirrors. I have the originals and although that's nice, they are rather unimpressive compared to what is currently available.G-Man wrote:I have a pair but have not used them yet. They feel OK but the morrow mounts are M10 where an early CB77 would use M8.

Do you think an adapter could be made from a length of M10 bolt cut to length, drilled and tapped for M8? Or is there insufficient material for that?

perches
Just went through this with my Dream. Put a perch on the left side after wiring the dimmer switch and horn through the handlebars I discovered I had 10mm perch and 8mm mirrors. Also put a new grip on the left side and had a heck of a time getting the new grip off. SOB!

Not sure there is enough meat in an M10 bolt to drill and tap to M8. Might be easier to tap a small pice of bar M8 one end and M10 the other. Then put a piece of M10 stud in the hole and screw the "adapter" on to it....
These guys might have something to help.

I'm sure you could do that with your skill and milling machine (I saw your oil pump mod.), but I'm just a woodworker with a shaky bench-top drill press.G-Man wrote:R100

I might just look for some nice 10mm mirrors.
Agree that mikesxs is a useful site.
