The seat was beyond repair so it was scrapped, & replaced with new. I used high-density foam topped with 'normal' foam, all cut with an electric carving knife!!
As usual the trim fixings were destroyed removing them, so I turned some brass 'mushrooms' & used spring-clips to hold the trim around the new seat-cover I bought off e-bay.
The seat pan was shot-blasted in the cabinet & painted with 2 pack acrylic.
Not fantastic, but I've never done a seat before!!
