DAMN.  
Ive got a CL front end on my CB77.  I went to put factory length flat bars on it and the brake levers hit the fork tubes.   so i bought a CB triple tree (built in riser compared to CL) and of course!!! it doesn't fit!  Head tube diameter is different and the center lines of the forks are in a different spot.  I should have known as clearly honda had no accountants in 65 forcing commonality across products.  BAHHH.
so ive either got to run 2" wider bars,  get bars with a rise or get a whole CB front end.  at least to get the look i want. bummer.
