1966 ca77 rear sprocket question

Post by choctaw » Mon Feb 15, 2016 6:59 pm

My Honda repair book says 250-305cc twins ALL YEARS on the cover, really covers all 1962-1963.
limits on FINAL DRIVEN SPROCKET shows 5.738 standard and 5.696 out of specs. this is I guess taken from the radius of the sprocket not the outside edge.My sprocket has 29 teeth the outside measures 6.005 the bottom diameter or radius measures 5.365 I have ordered another book, that i hope will cover later models. My question is what is the specs. for a 1966 ca77 Dream.thanks a million,Mike

Mike; if your sprocket is all there and the teeth aren't hooked or worn down on the sides (pretty obvious), just run it. dreams don't throw chains.
Good luck
Randy
