Just acquired a 1964 C 78, Canadian model. Is this bike an early or late version? Not sure of the range of years that make it early or late. Thanks for any help.

Early C78s were actually C77s.

Sorry, no pics yet. It does have the late style fuel tank.

Can anyone shed some light on the clutch cable style? My case has the rectangular notch in the top for the cable stopper. Is this the late long cable style and is that stopper used only on the late models? Sorry, I'm used to two stroke Yamahas. Appreciate any help. Thanks.
