Search within a thread?

When I do searches on the forum, many of the results are threads that are over 100 pages long. Sometimes I go through the first few pages or last few pages looking for the search term I want - usually with no luck. Going through all the pages is not reasonable. Is there a way of searching that can get you to the particular page containing your search terms?

I'm not positive this will help, but have you tried using a Google site search? It often brings me directly to the post with my search term.
