I have a 1965 CA77, 305 Honda Dream and need to take the rear cushion apart. What is the best way, i dont want to brake the plastic case. I see the top unscrews from the bottom, how do you compress them.

I lined the top part with leather so that it wouldn't scratch the plastic.
