Clutch Friction Plates
Recently went through and cleaned up the clutch plates and basket, and bought what i think are the proper friction plates. After putting them the plates in the basket and tightening down the cover, it appears the plates have a bit too much "play"
This lead me to place one of the old friction plates up to the new ones and the new ones seem to be just a smidge smaller than the old ones.
Also i noticed the friction pads are different between the two, which i assume won't matter but have attached a picture anyway.
My main concern is the difference in width of the plates.
Any insight is appreciated

Re: Clutch Friction Plates
Looking at the side pic I'd say you may not have put the thickest steel plate on the center hub first.
Followed by friction/steel.
The pic of the first friction disc is corrrect for this clutch.
If you need that old friction disc you don't have this clutch assembled correctly. ......................lm

I will double check, but i'm 90% sure the thickest steel plate was put on first.
By first friction disc do you mean the one on top of the second picture?
I don't need the old friction disc there, its just there for comparison. I used the parts catalog to know what order to put things back together.
Any idea of where i can find the proper friction discs for this clutch?

LM, here are the pictures you requested. I believe the only part that i forgot to take a picture of was the set-ring.
Let me know if there are any other parts that you think i should replace.
