Hotter plugsHotter plugsCan someone offer advice in using D6HA plugs in my CA77 rather than the D8HA I use now.
I have no issues with the 8HA but just seeking advise. Thanks. CA77 plugsThe modern D6HA / HS and D8HA / HS have a much wider heat range than the 1960s OEM D6H or D8H
If you could see it on a chart I suspect that both] of the modern D6HA and D8HA would each have a heat range that covered that of both of the older plugs, hence plug selection is less critical today. I don't have a C or CA but use D8HS plugs in both my CB77 and CL77s. Under the old wisdom I should fit D10H for faster work and stick with D8H for town use but the modern D8HS copes well with both, no misfiring or plug fouling Back in the day, Honda in the US actually issued a Bulletin to owners saying that they should carry and fit different plugs and change them depending on usage but that's certainly not necessary with today's plugs.
