Sealed beam units

I have 2 US sourced bikes that have sealed beam headlamp units and although they both work OK they both have some 'bloom' on the inside of the glass. Just wondered if anyone had any kind of solution for this.

Lamps with replaceable bulbs occasionally come up on eBay.
