CB Tranmission in CA cases??
CB Tranmission in CA cases??
As most of you know, the Dream's gearing is very short and 1st gear is almost useless. However, I have a very nice CB transmission (with back-cut gears!) and was thinking of using that in the Dream. Anyone ever do this? Any thoughts?

Re: CB Tranmission in CA cases??
Transmission shafts fit fine, but final gearing of the two bikes is quite different, so a larger rear sprocket is needed. The CB gears with back-cut dogs and much better than the CA gears.
